Strengthen Your Math Instruction: Join the Mathematics Community of Practice

OAESA is pleased to share an opportunity from our partners in the BRICK project. Educators are invited to participate in the Mathematics Community of Practice (CoP), facilitated by mathematics expert Sarah Powell.

This professional learning series will focus on strengthening mathematics instruction by engaging with Ohio’s Plan for K-12 Mathematics and the Algebraic Thinking module series. Participants will gain strategies and resources to enhance classroom practice and support student learning.

The Community of Practice is open to:

• Intervention Specialists

• General Education Teachers

• Paraeducators

The content will be most relevant for those serving upper elementary through middle school students.

The first session will be held on September 30, 2025. We encourage interested educators to register in advance to take full advantage of this learning opportunity.
