Ohio Voice Workgroups

The Ohio Department of Eduation and Workforce recently opened applications and nominations for their Ohio Student Voice Workgroup and their new Ohio Family Voice Workgroup. We are looking for students in grades 8-12 for the student workgroup and families of any students in grades K-12 for the family workgroup. We will engage with these groups to help support our policy and communication initiatives.

Are you interested in having your voice heard and supporting Ohio's education system? The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is accepting applications and nominations for two workgroups:

1. Students in grades 8-12 can apply or be nominated for the Ohio Student Voice Workgroup. The workgroup participates in discussions, explores educational topics, and provides feedback on education policy and practice. The application window closes on Sept. 8.
2. Families of students in Ohio's K-12 schools can apply for the Ohio Family Voice Workgroup. The workgroup participates in discussions and provides feedback on Ohio educational policy using a family lens. The application window closes on Sept. 8.
