2026 Ohio School Counselor of the Year Nominations

The Ohio School Counselor Association (OSCA) is now accepting nominations from professionals for the 2026 Ohio School Counselor of the Year (OSCOY). This year, OSCA will be recognizing up to five (5) finalists for this top award with one person being named OSCOY. The OSCOY will then go on to represent Ohio for the National School Counselor of the Year recognition. 

By clicking this link, you will be able to take a few short minutes to fill out a simple form and upon submitting, the school counselor you nominate will receive an email notifying them of the nomination and providing information and instructions to apply.

Nominees for the OSCOY are those who show a commitment to providing a comprehensive school counseling program, serve as a leader and advocate within their school and demonstrate excellence in supporting the academic, career and social/emotional development of their students.
