Family Engagement Leadership Summit: Sessions on Attendance, Literacy, Math, Mental Health, and more!
The Family Engagement Leadership Summit, on September 18, 2026, is a virtual
professional learning event for principals, district administrators, and other school leaders committed to strengthening family-school-community partnerships.
We invite you to "Before the Bell," a special principals' session on taking a multi-tiered approach to family engagement. You'll get practical tools, examples from Ohio principals, reflection questions, and a preview of the new e-book, Within Reach, by coauthors Dr. Barbara Boone, Dr. Hadley Bachman, and Sarah DeShon. You'll leave with ideas to get started on building multi-tiered family engagement into your school improvement plan, so that every family is reached.
Throughout the rest of the day, the Summit connects research to practice, providing actionable strategies that can support priorities already identified in your school's improvement efforts, including attendance, literacy, math, mental health, and more!
